Having just returned from a one-week Christmas sojourn in the Garden State, I’m reminded by the accuracy of this… and what it says for eight million people that live on top of one another.  A sheer mile can reveal the largest of socioeconomic gradations. I’ll always have a place in my heart for New Jersey.  It is, after all, where all of my childhood neurons were laid down.  I’m just not certain I could raise a family there.
